In July 2012 as compared with July 2011 corporate deposit rates in Armenia grew from 6.9% to 8.8%
ArmInfo. In July 2012 as compared with July 2011 corporate deposit rates in Armenia grew by 1.9% to 8.8%. In Jan-July 2012 the rates grew by 0.4%, in July 2012 alone they dropped by 0.3%.
According to the Central Bank of Armenia, as compared with July 2011 the rates of AMD corporate deposits grew from 8.7% to 10.3%, while those of USD deposits from 5% to 7.4%. Individual deposit rates grew by 1.1% as compared with July 2011, dropped by 0.3% in July 2012 alone and did not change in Jan-July 2012: AMD deposit rates grew from 10.5% to 11.5%, USD deposit rates from 5.8% to 6.8%.
In July 2012 the average rate of short-term corporate deposits was 7.9% - 1.1% more than in July 2011, 0.32% more than in June 2012 and 0.1% less than in Dec 2011. Long-term corporate deposit rates grew by 2.7%, dropped by 1% and grew by 1%, respectively, to 9.7%. For short-term and long-term individual deposit rates the statistics are as follows: 1% growth, 0.4% drop and 0.3% drop to 8.1% and 1% growth, 0.1% drop and 0.2% growth to 10.2%.
