In Q2 2012 Armenia's gross foreign debt grew by 2.1%
ArmInfo. In Q2 2012 Armenia's gross foreign debt grew by 2.1% to $7.499bln, while gross foreign assets grew by 0.6% to $4.595bln. As a result, the net foreign debt made up $2.904bln (4.6% more than in Q1 2012).
According to Armenia's Finance Ministry, 41.26% of the gross foreign debt were long-term loans in the system of state administration, 22.29% the long-term loans and deposits of commercial banks, 14.17% long- and short-term loans in the private sector and 12.34% direct foreign investments.
Jan 1 2012 the gross foreign debt totaled $7.393bln, the gross foreign assets $4.814bln, the net foreign debt $2.579bln.
Apr 1 2012 the indices were $7.345bln, $4.569bln and $2.775bln, respectively.
