ArmInfo. There will be no serious shocks in the world economy within the next few years, Mikhail Zadornov, President-Chairman of Board of VTB 24 Bank, said at today's video bridge at VTB Bank (Armenia). Nevertheless, he pointed out that one should not completely rule out the negative scenario of the world economy development.
The banker said that within the next 2-3 years the world economy will grow at a slow and moderate pace.
As regards the future of the Russian economy, Zadornov said that its growth rates are decelerating. Nevertheless, by late 2012 GDP of Russia will increase by 3.5%, which is not a bad indicator amid the continuous global crisis, he said. VTB 24 expects the GDP of Russia to make up about 3% in 2013.
