Ameriabank launches new deposit action


ArmInfo. Ameriabank launches a new deposit action.

The press service of the bank reports that the holders of the deposit will receive not the interest but the difference between the sum they have deposited and the sum they are to receive at the end of the year. For example, a 1,000 AMD deposit costs 903.26 AMD, a $100 deposit $93.68, a 100 EUR deposit 94.70 EUR and the difference can be received immediately.

The deposit action also gives an additional opportunity to the depositor to receive a commission-free payment card for two years and to receive a credit line with a grace period of redemption. The Bank recalls that in 2010 a similar action was held, which received a wide public response. The new action will be in force till 30 Dec 2012.

Over Jan-Sept 2012 the volume of time deposits of Ameriabank amounted to 42 bln AMD (24% growth versus early 2012, and 27% growth versus Jan-Sept 2011).

Ameriabank CJSC is a universal bank providing investment, corporate and retail banking services. Ameria Group has been the majority shareholder of the Bank (99.99%) since November 2011.
