By the end of 2012 Ameriabank is planning to increase its loan book by 20%
ArmInfo. By the end of 2012 Ameriabank is planning to increase its loan book by 20%, Financial Manager of Ameriabank Gevorg Tarumyan told journalists on Tuesday.
He said that for the moment the bank's loan book totals 154bln AMD, with SME support still being its strategic priority.
Tarumyan said that this year the bank has increased its mortgage lending by 20%, while the number of plastic cards has grown by 26%.
According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Commercial Banks of Armenia, in Jan-June 2012 over 80% of Ameriabank's loans were given to the economy, 15.8% to individuals.
