Precious metals grew in price by 2.2% in October
ArmInfo. Precious metals in Armenia grew in price over October. The growth was due to 4% increase in gold, platinum and silver prices amid 3.3% reduction in palladium prices.
1.4% average decline in prices of precious metals has been fixed in Armenia this week against the background of 2.5% decline in platinum prices, 1.9% in palladium prices, 0.6% in gold prices and 0.4% in silver prices. The State Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of the Armenian Finance Ministry told ArmInfo that the following prices have been fixed for 5-11 November 2012: gold (small bullions) - 22335.92 AMD (0.6% weekly decline), silver - 419.36 AMD (0.4% decline), platinum - 20318.30 AMD (2.5% weekly decline), and palladium - 7879.68 AMD (1.9% weekly decline).
Since early 2012, gold in Armenia has grown in price by 12.7%, silver - by 16.3%, platinum - by 156%, and palladium - by 1.1%. The average growth of precious metals prices since early 2012 is 11.4%.
