In Q3 2012 assets of Armenian banks grew by 4.3% to $5.8bln


ArmInfo. In Q3 2012 the assets of Armenia's commercial banks grew by 4.3% to $5.8bln or 2.337tln AMD.

The press service of Armenia's Central Bank reports that the loan book of the banks grew by 1.5% to $1.25bln or 509.8bln AMD. Corporate lending grew by 2.4% to 881.4bln AMD or $2.17bln.

In Q3 2012 the banks invested $382.6mln or 155.4bln AMD in securities - 6.2% more than in Q3 2011.

Nostro account funds grew by 45.3% to 101.3bln AMD or $249.4mln, cash by 12% to 92.5bln AMD or $203mln.
