VEGA to help customers repay their consumer loans received at Unibank
ArmInfo. The network of VEGA stores has announced the launch of a new campaign, which will help the customers repay their consumer loans received at Unibank. The press service of Unibank told ArmInfo that if the customers receive a consumer loan at Unibank for acquisition of commodities in VEGA network, VEGA will compensate for the loan amount within two months.
The source says that the loan amount is up to 1,000,000 AMD, the period of redemption is up to 24 months, the interest rate is 20%. No prepayment and no commission fees are charged. The joint campaign will last till 10 Dec 2012.
If a customer has a positive credit history and the loan amount does not exceed 300,000 AMD, he/she is to present only the passport and the social card for receiving the loan. If the loan amount is more than 300,000 AMD, the customer is also to present an employment certificate.
Within the frames of cooperation with the network of VEGA stores, Unibank also offers co-branding credit cards "Unibank-VEGA" with a limit of up to 300,000 AMD for noncash payment for the shopping in VEGA stores.
According to the Ranking of Armenian Banks by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), as of 1 Oct 2012 Unibank's consumer loans amounted to 34.4 bln AMD, or 34.3% of the bank's credit portfolio. Unibank holds the 4th position in the banking system of Armenia by its portfolio of consumer loans.
