Over Sept 2012 foreign liabilities of Central Bank of Armenia dropped by 2.8%
ArmInfo. Over Sept 2012 the gross foreign liabilities of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) were down 2.8% to 730.7 mln by 1 Oct 2012 (1.7% decline for Q3 2012, 0.7% y-o-y growth).
The CBA reports that the decline was due to the reduction of the IMF loans by 5% to $472.5 mln (4.9% decline for Q3 2012, 7.3% y-o-y decline). In the structure of the CBA's foreign liabilities the share of IMF loans was 64.7%.
The share of other loans made up 16.7% or $122.4 mln (1.8% growth for Sept 2012, 6.1% growth for Q3 2012, and 58% y-o-y growth).
The source says that the share of SDR in the gross foreign liabilities of the CBA made up 18.5% or $135.5 mln (1.2% increase for Sept 2012, 1.4% increase for Q3 2012, and 1.5% y-o-y decline).
