Net inflow of private transfers to Armenia amounted to $1.2 bln for Jan-Sept 2012 with 8,6% growth
ArmInfo. The inflow of private non-commercial transfers of individual persons to Armenia amounted to $1.2 bln for Jan-Sept 2012 with 8,6% growth versus the same period of 2011.
As Armenian Central Bank reported, the outflow of private transfers from Armenia over the reported period grew by 6,9% versus Jan-Sep 2011 and amounted to $203.7 mln. As a result, as of 1 October 2012, the net inflow of private transfers of individual persons to Armenia grew by 9% and amounted to $982.9 mln. The majority of transfers was from Russia - 85,4%. The comes the USA - 4,2%, Kazakhstan - 1,3%, Ukraine - 1,2%, France - 0,7%, Germany - 0,6%, UAE- 0,5%, Spain - 0,4%, China - 0,2% and Turkey - 0,1%.
As for the outflow of transfers from Armenia, 60% of outflow or $113.8 mln was the share of Russia with 12,5% growth versus Jan-Sept 2011. The comes the USA - 8,9% or more than $18 mln (dropping by 6,9%). The outflow of transfers from Armenia to France also decreased by 32,9% to $3.8 mln (1,8% out of the total volume of outflow), to Spain - 29,9% to $3 mln (1,5%), to Kazakhstan - 22,4% to $1 mln (0,5%), to Turkey - 21,3% to $2.9 mln (1,4%),to Ukraine - 11,2% to $10.7 mln (5,3%), to UAE - by 10,5% to $4.9 mln (2,4%). The outflow of transfers to China grew by 32,7% up to $8 mln (3,9%) and Germany - by 18,6% up to $6 mln (3%).
As a result, the lion's share of the net inflow - 91,5% or $899.6 mln belongs to Russia with growth by 12% versus Jan-Sept 2011. Meanwhile, net inflow of transfers from France grew twofold and, as of 1 October 2012, amounted to $4.4 mln (0,4% out of the total volume of net inflow of transfers). The net inflow of transfers from Kazakhstan also grew by 0,6% up to $14.1 mln (1,4%). The net inflow of transfers from the UAE for Jan-Sept 2012 demonstrated the growth from the minus indicator to the plus one and as of 1 October 2012, amounted to $1.5 mln.
At the same time, net inflow of transfers from Ukraine reduced more than twofold for Jan-Sept 2012 versus Jan-Sept 2011, and as of 1 October 2012, amounted to $3 mln (0,3%). The net inflow of transfers from Spain and Germany also decreased almost twofold - $1.7 mln (0,2%). The net inflow of transfers from the USA also reduced - by 3,8% to $31.7 mln (3,2%). The minus net inflow was registered in transfers from China where the minus indicator reduced by 6% - to $5.3 mln, as well as from Turkey - by 13% to $1.6 mln versus Jan-Sept 2011.
