Plastic transactions down 4.5% to 57 bln AMD over November 2012
ArmInfo. Over Nov 2012 the total volume of plastic transactions in the Armenian Card system dropped by 4.5% to 57 bln AMD. Armenian Card told ArmInfo that the share of cash transactions made up 50.9 bln AMD (down 4.4% versus Oct 2012), and non-cash transactions - 6 bln AMD (5.3% decline versus Oct 2012).
The source says that the biggest share of transactions fell on ArCa cards - 41.9%, or 23.9 bln AMD (10.7% decline over Oct 2012), the share of Visa cards in the total volume of plastic transactions made up 35.4%, or 20.2 bln AMD (2.1% growth), and the share of MasterCards - 12.9 bln AMD (1.6% decline).
The average amount of a transaction was 47.2 thsd AMD (57.5 thsd AMD for Visa cards, 44.6 thsd AMD for MasterCards, and 42.3 thsd AMD for ArCa cards).
