In Nov 2012 Armenia's money supply grew by 21.2%
ArmInfo. In Nov 2012 as compared with Nov 2011 Armenia's money supply grew by 21.2% while AMD supply by 16.3%.
The press service of Armenia's Central Bank reports that in Nov 2012 as compared with Nov 2011 AMD deposits grew by 25.2%, while foreign exchange ones by 27.7%. During the same period economy lending grew by 27.7%.
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in Oct 2012 as compared with Oct 2011 Armenia's monetary base grew by 10.3% to 641.6bln AMD ($1.6mln), while money supply by 22.6% to 1.279tln AMD ($3.2bln).
During the same period deposits grew by 30.4% to 1.175bln AMD ($2.9bln): 30% or 351.5bln AMD ($887mln) were AMD deposits, 70% or 824bln AMD ($2.032bln) foreign exchange ones.
In Oct 2012 as compared with Oct 2011 loans grew by 26.5% to 1.526tln AMD ($3.764bln): 35.7% or 531bln AMD were AMD loans, 64.3% or 956.7bln AMD foreign exchange ones.
