Armenia ranks 2nd among former USSR countries by official US dollar exchange growth rates in 2012
ArmInfo. In 2012 Armenia ranked 2nd among the former USSR countries by the official US dollar exchange growth rates, the Belarusian BelaPAN company's analysis of the exchange rates as of 31 December 2011 and 2012 says.
The source says that in Armenia the growth of the official USD exchange rose by 4.62% - from 385.77 to 403.58 AMD.
Uzbekistan was in the lead - the USD exchange rate grew by 10.53% (from 1.795 to 1.984 soms). Moldova was the third - by 2.97% (from 11.7154 to 12.0634 leus). The following countries rank next: Belarus - by 2.63% (from 8.350 to 8.570 rubles), Kyrgyzstan - by 1.97% (from 46.4847 to 47.4015 soms), Kazakhstan - by 1.58% (from 148.40 to 150.74 tenges), Tajikistan - by 0.12% (from 4.7585 to 4.7644 somonis), Ukraine - by 0.04% (from 7.9898 to 7.993 hryvnias).
The USD exchange rate underwent no changes in Turkmenistan (2.85 manats), and dropped in Azerbaijan by 0.19% (from 0.7865 to 0.785 manats), Georgia - by 0.81% (from 1.6703 to 1.6567 laris), Estonia - by 1.94% (from 0.7729 to 0.7579 euros), Lithuania - by 2.38% (from 2.6694 to 2.606 litas), Latvia - by 2.39% (from 0.544 to 0.531 lats) and Russia - by 5.66% (from 32.1961 to 30.3727 rubles).
