Issue of cards to be temporarily suspended in Armenia from 29 January to 14 February because of launch of new software of Single Payment System "Armenian Card"
Arminfo. The Armenian banks - members of the "Armenian card" Single Payment System will temporarily suspend the issue of cards from 19 January to 14 February because of launching of the new software. On the night of the 8th/9th February when launching a new software the banking cards of ArCa, Visa and MasterCard will not be rendered service.
As press-service of the Armenian Card reported, the necessity of changing and upgrading of the software was dictated by new requirements of the bank clients, the growing number of cards and by growing of the volume of operations as well as by the world technical and technological development of the card business sphere.
To recall, the National Single Payment System "Armenian Card" has issued a new software for its own processing center, which meets modern requirements. The most important privilege of the new system is providing of independence of the ArCa member-banks when using their own original card projects, and essential increasing of its volume. The new software fully meets international requirements of safety, in particular, the availability of the PA DSS (Payment Application Data Security Standards) certificate is evidence of maximal safety.
