Total capital of banking system of Armenia up 3,2% for 4Q 2012
Arminfo. The total capital of banking system of Armenia grew by 3,2% for the 4Q 2012 and amounted to 400.7 bln drams ($992.9 mln) by 1 January 2013. The authorized capital grew by 0,2% up to 243 bln drams or $602.1 mln. The share of foreign capital in the authorized capital grew by 0,4%, having amounted to 178.2 bln drams or 73,3% out of the aggregate size of capital.
As press-service of Central Bank reported, as of 1 January 2013, in the structure of the aggregate capitalЉ the share of the accumulated profit was 27,1% or 108.6 bln drams with a quarter growth by 9,4%. The main reserves did not change for the reported period - 20 bln drams.
According to the Central Bank, as of 1 January 2013, the total liabilities of the banking system amounted to 2.1 trillion drams with a quarter growth by 6,2%. The aggregate assets amounted to 2,5 trillion drams, by 5,7% more than in the 3Q 2012.
