Ameriabank joins Factors Chain International
ArmInfo. Ameriabank has joined Factors Chain International.
According to the press service of Ameriabank, this is a chance for the bank to enlarge its factoring capacities and for its customers to establish contacts with partners in over 80 countries.
In 2012 the number of Ameriabank's factoring deals grew by 47%, while their volume rose by 3.7 times to 7bln AMD. 9% of the deals were international.
According to Head of Ameriabank's Factoring Department Anzhela Khachatryan, in 2012 29% of the factoring deals were carried out in the field of imports, 14% in construction, the rest in power engineering and services. "The demand for our factoring services is growing on a daily basis, with more and more companies seeing it as the most effective financial instrument," Khachatryan said.
Ameriabank first announced its intention to join Factors Chain International in 2008. Factors Chain International is a global network of leading factoring companies, whose common aim is to facilitate international trade through factoring and related financial services. Currently the FCI network counts 266 factors in 73 countries, actively engaged in more than 80% of the world's cross-border factoring volume.
