In Jan 2013 inflow of private transfers to Armenia dropped by 46.7%
ArmInfo. In Jan 2013 the inflow of private non-commercial transfers of individuals via the banking system of Armenia dropped by 46.7% to $83.2 mln by 1 Feb 2013. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) reports that the decline was fixed in the inflow of individuals' transfers from all the donor countries.
The major part of the transfers was from Russia - 78.6%, the USA - 5.5%, Kazakhstan - 1.8%, Ukraine - 1.3%, France - 1.1%, Germany - 1%, the UAE - 0.7%, Spain - 0.5%, China - 0.2% and Turkey - 0.1%. 50.6% of outflow of transfers fell on Russia, 12.7% - on the USA, 4.3% - on the Ukraine, 3.4% - on China, 3.2% - on the UAE, 2.6% - on Germany, 1.5% - on Turkey, 1.4% - on France, 1.2% - on Spain.
According to the CBA, in 2012 the inflow of the private non-commercial transfers of individuals via the banking system of Armenia totaled $1.687 bln (9% growth versus 2011). The outflow of the private transfers from Armenia grew by 10.4% versus 2011 to $292.2 mln. As a result, as of 1 Jan 2013, the net inflow of private transfers of individuals to Armenia amounted to $1.395 bln (8.8% growth versus 2011).
To recall, the CBA expects the growth in the inflow of private non-commercial transfers to Armenia will slow down to 7-9% against the earlier forecasted 8-10%.
