In Feb 2013 money base in Armenia grew by 3.6%
ArmInfo. In Feb 2013 money base in Armenia grew by 3.6% to $1.7bln or 680bln AMD. As compared with Feb 2012 it grew by 20.7%.
The National Statistical Service of Armenia reports that non CB cash made up 397.7bln AMD or 58.5% of money base (0.7% less than in Jan 2013 and 10.5% more than in Feb 2012), compulsory AMD reserves 183.4bln AMD or 27% (4.3% and 20.5% respective growths), compulsory foreign exchange reserves 93bln AMD or 12.6% (26.6% and two time growths).
External reserves grew by 3.7% as compared with Jan 2013 and by 0.03% as compared with Feb 2012, internal reserves by 3.4% and 80.3%, respectively, to 261.5bln AMD.
