CB: Rise in gas price not to affect stability of Armenia's financial sector


ArmInfo. The expected rise in the gas price in Armenia will not affect the stability of the country's financial sector, Head of the Financial System Stability and Development Department of the Central Bank of Armenia Andranik Grigoryan told journalists on Monday.

He said that the rise will affect the solvency and borrowing ability of bank customers

To remind, ArmRusgasprom and Transgaz are going to raise the gas tariff for consumers using less than 10,000 c m a month from 132,000 AMD per 1,000 c m to 221,000 AMD per 1,000 c m (VAT inclusive).
