Client base of Armenian banks up 7.5% for Q1 2013


ArmInfo. Client base of the Armenian banking system totaled 1 620 303 privates and 72 563 legal entities as of April 1 2013. By preliminary data of the Armenian Central Bank provided to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, 1 692 866 customers had 2 846 363 bank accounts, including 2 687 477 private accounts and 158 477 corporate accounts.

For Q1 2013 the client base of Armenia grew 7.5% (17.5% growth versus Q1 2012), with the number of bank accounts growing 48.6% (nearly doubled over the year).
