HSBC Bank Armenia awards its trade finance best customers
ArmInfo. Today HSBC Bank Armenia for the 4th year in a row awarded its best trade finance customers of 2012. Thies Clemenz, HSBC Bank Armenia, Chief Executive Officer, said at the ceremony that the goal of the event is to increase the interest in the trade finance instruments on the specific examples of our best customers.
In particular, Best Trade Customer - Grand Prix - went to EUROTERM CJSC. Best Trade Customer - Best Newcomer Trade Award - went to MENTOR GRAPHICS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES CJSC. Best Trade Customer - CEO's Special Award - went to GOLDEN GRAPE ARMAS LLC. Best Trade Customer - International Trade Award - went to ALFA PET LLC and, finally, the Best Trade Customer - Innovative Trade Award - went to PIRALYAN LLC.

Best trade customer of the year award winner Vahe Ghazaryan, EUROTERM CJSC Director, in turn, said that the documentary letter of credit provided by HSBC Bank Armenia in 2012 made it possible reducing the company's spending by 40%.
"The reason of our long-term cooperation is the best conditions and high level customer service of HSBC Bank Armenia," he said.
Aram Pinajyan, HSBC Bank Armenia, Head of Commercial Banking, said: "Today, we are rewarding 5 customers of HSBC Armenia who demonstrated success, achieved tangible results or expanded internationally by making use of HSBC geographic footprint covering more than 80 countries in 5 continents and our innovative, forward looking trade finance solutions."
He said that in 2012 the bank provided 30 bln drams for trade financing. The bank has over 4,000 corporate borrowers, with nearly 400 using trade finance instruments.
The Bank's shareholders are HSBC Europe B.V. (70%) and Wings Establishmenbt (30%).
