Ardshininvestbank joins state program on lending to military servicemen
ArmInfo. Erik Abrahamyan. On July 30, Ardshininvestbank joined the state program on provision of lending to military servicemen for the purchase of household appliances. Under the program, provision of the loans requires no documents confirming the borrower's paying capacity.
The Bank's press service has told ArmInfo that the loans are provided to the citizens of Armenia, particularly, to the officers of the Defense Ministry, National Security Service and Police of Armenia. The borrower's age is not to exceed 65 by the expiry of the loan redemption period.
The biggest amount of the loan is 500,000 AMD. The loans are provided for up to 7 years at 12% p.a., of which 2% is subsidized by the Government (3% for families with 3 and more children). The loan provision requires the presence of a guarantor (a member of the borrower's family meeting the Bank's requirements). The application for the loan is approved within two banking days. The potential borrower is to submit his passport, certificate of employment, certificates of birth of his minor children.
The loans will be provided to the military servicemen at the head office and branches of the Bank. For the moment the Bank has 55 branches, 13 of them in Yerevan, 36 in the regions and 6 in the Nagorno- Karabakh Republic.
According to the Ranking of the Banks of Armenia by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), by the end of the first half of 2013, the assets of Ardshininvestbank amounted to 233.5 bln AMD (up 32.1% versus the same period of 2012). The Bank's loan book totaled 155 bln AMD (up 33.1%), net profit amounted to 2 bln AMD (up 53.3%).
