Vakhtang Abrahamyan re-appointed member of Armenian Central Bank Council for another 5-year term


ArmInfo. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has appointed Vakhtang Abrahamyan a member of the Armenian Central Bank Council for the second term. Abrahamyan has been a member of the Council since 1 September 2008.

The press service of the Armenian President reports that the decree comes into force on 2 September 2013 and the term of office lasts for 5 years, according to Article 19 Part 2 of the Law "On the Central Bank of Armenia".

To note, the CBA Council consists of 5 members: Armenak Darbinyan, Vakhtang Abrahamyan, Ashot Mkrtchyan, Oleg Aghasyan, and Artur Stepanyan.
