Annual programme for monetary management of Armenia's Central Bank to be submitted to the parliament a month earlier


Arminfo. The annual programme for monetary management of Armenia's Central Bank will be submitted to the parliament a month earlier, till 1 April, such a decision was adopted at today's session of the government.

As chairman of Armenia's Central Bank Artur Javadyan said, several members of the parliament have come forward with an initiative to submit the annual programme to the parliament in January. This is impossible as for making the annual programme we use macroeconomic statistical data of the past year, which are published not earlier than in the 1Q of the next year. At present, according to the law, Central Bank submits the programme till 1 May. As a result of the decision adopted today, the annual programme for the monetary management will be submitted till 1 April, Javadyan said.
