Unibank offers business loans without levying any commission fee

To enhance the affordability and efficiency of its credit resources, Unibank offers loans to small and medium-sized enterprises for a period of up to 10 years without levying any commission fee. The loan amount is up to 2 mln USD or EUR and the interest rate starts from 12% p.a. The press service of Unibank has told ArmInfo that private entrepreneurs or legal entities can receive the new loan for any business purposes. The collateral is movable or immovable property.
The source says that the key advantage of the loan is the lack of any commission fee and the opportunity to redeem the loan ahead of time without any penalty. One can apply for the business loan at any of the 45 branches of Unibank. The specialists of small and medium-sized enterprises can also hold an online meeting with Unibank's specialist. For this purpose one is to fill in a simple application form on www.unibank.am. Afterwards, the loan officer of the Bank will contact the customer and visit him/her to present the banking services and provide the preliminary consultation.
According to the latest data, as of 31 Aug 2013, the loan book of Unibank totaled 103 bln AMD, of which 59 bln AMD was business loans. The loans provided to SMEs exceeded 34 bln AMD, having constituted 33% of the total loan book of the Bank. In Jan-June 2013, Unibank increased SME lending by 19% and held the 6th position in the banking market. Unibank's share in the aggregate SME loan book of the banks was over 7%.
