In 2013 Armenia's Central Bank bought $45 mln to mellow fluctuation in exchange
Arminfo. In 2013 Armenia's Central Bank bought $45 mln to mellow fluctuation in exchange, Chairman of Armenia's Central Bank Artur Javadyan said when replying to the question of the opposition members of the parliament about the level of interference of Central Bank in the foreign currency market.
"I do not agree to you that such interference may be called an instrument of sterilization, as sterilization supposes interference in transfers as well. This would result in limitation of transfers to Armenia, which in its turn, would limit trade relations and the currency policy", Javadyan said.
