Chairman of Armenia's CB: VTB's presence is a stimulus for competition and innovation in Armenia's banking sector


ArmInfo. VTB's presence is a stimulus for competition and innovation in Armenia's banking sector, Chairman of Armenia's Central Bank Artur Javadyan said during a meeting with CEO of VTB Andrey Kostin on Monday.

He said that VTB's activities cover different sectors of Armenia's economy and are a big stimulus for its development.

Kostin said that he is glad to know that VTB Bank (Armenia) is active in financing business projects.

He asked Javadyan to tell him about the performance of Armenia's banking system and the reforms carried out in the sector over the last years.
