VTB Bank (Armenia) keeps investing in development of remote customer service technologies
ArmInfo. From now on, when issuing a payment order for utility bills, VTB Bank (Armenia) will monthly inform the customers of their utility bills via an SMS message prior to the day of withdrawal of the utility payments from the customers accounts, the press service of VTB Bank (Armenia) has told ArmInfo.
If a customer simultaneously paid for the electric power of his/her own flat and his/her parents' flat, this caused some problems earlier. Now it is possible to form groups of utility payments, name them and receive SMS messages about the debt amount and to control the payments.
Customers will receive the SMS messages in the language they choose beforehand, and the message mentions the name of the utility group created by the customers. The SMS messages are sent on the 12th day of each month, and the money is withdrawn from the customers' accounts on the day they mention in the agreement on payment order. The customers can also fix limits for the amounts withdrawn from their accounts for each type of utility payments.
"Investing in development of remote customer service technologies allows the customers to resort to more convenient devices to make the payments, e.g. telephone, Internet, ATMs, and terminals. The upgraded service of utility payments by means of a payment order allows our customers to save time, to be informed of the amount to be paid and to fully control the funds on their accounts", said Yuri Gusev, Director General, Chairman of Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia).
VTB Bank (Armenia) became a member of VTB Group in April 2004. VTB Bank, the second largest bank in Russia, is the sole owner of VTB Bank (Armenia). The Bank traditionally holds the leading positions in the Armenian banking system by a number of indices. It has the largest branch network in Armenia - 67 branches.
