Ameriabank is going to attract 40 mln USD loans from international organizations in 2014


ArmInfo. In 2014 Ameriabank is going to attract USD 40mln loans from international organizations, Artak Hanesyan, Chairman of the Management Board-Director General of Ameriabank CJSC, said at a press conference on Friday.

He said that in 2013 the Bank promoted its cooperation with international financial organizations, having concluded loan agreements worth a total of $42 mln, particularly, with the EBRD ($12 mln), PROPARCO Development Financial Institution ($15 mln), Development Bank of Austria (OeEB) ($15 mln). As of late 2013, the portfolio of the Bank's international loans totaled $273 mln. "These programs are mostly aimed at supporting SMEs, financing energy efficiency projects and renewable energy projects", said Hanesyan.

Ameriabank CJSC is a universal bank offering corporate, investment and retail banking services in a comprehensive package of banking solutions. Ameria Group CY Ltd. has been the majority shareholder of the Bank (with a 99.99% stake) since November 2011.
