Armenia's Central Bank: There is need for rescheduling agricultural loan debts worth 6bln AMD
ArmInfo. As a result of the last frosts, there is a need for rescheduling agricultural loan debts worth 6bln AMD, Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan said on Thursday.
He said that the Government is now assessing the damages caused by the frosts. "I suppose the sum will amount to some 6bln AMD," Javadyan said.
Armenia's Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said that the Government would help the aggrieved farmers with seeds and fertilizers. "We still have time to remedy the situation by the beginning of the crop year," Sargsyan said.
