In Q1 2014 Armenia's gross international reserves dropped by 12.5%
ArmInfo. In Q1 2014, Armenia's gross international reserves dropped by 12.5% to $1,970.3 mln by 1 April 2014. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) reports that the year-over-year growth was 20.8%.
The source says that in the structure of international reserves the net foreign assets dropped by 16.6% to $1,340.3 mln in Q1 2014 (40.8% y-o-y growth). In the meantime, the SDR in the IMF amounted to $557.2 thsd (373.4 thsd SDR), having decreased 3.3-fold in Q1 2014 (almost 3-fold y-o-y decline).
To note, in 2013 Armenia's gross international reserves rose by 25% to $2.252 bln by 1 Jan 2014. The net foreign assets grew by 50.5% to $1.607 bln, and the SDR in the IMF dropped almost 17-fold to $2 mln (1.2 mln).
