Armenia's Central Bank reduces export growth outlook for 2014 to 5.5-7.5%
ArmInfo. Armenia's Central Bank has reduced its export growth outlook for 2014 from 11-13% to 5.5-7.5%.
The import growth outlook has been reduced from 3-5% to 2-4%.
As a result, the share of the current account deficit in the GDP grew to 7.5-8.5% (against earlier drop to 7-8%).
According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, in 2013 Armenia's foreign trade made up $6bln (2.4tln AMD), wherein exports made up $1.5bln (606bln AMD) and imports $4.5bln (1.8tln AMD). As a result, trade deficit made up $3bln (1.226tln).
