In August 2014 AMD devaluation against USD made up 0.5%


ArmInfo. The AMD devaluation against USD made up 1% in Jan- Aug 2014 and 0.5% in August 2014 (0.5% devaluation versus Aug 2013). The press service of the Armenian National Statistical Service has told ArmInfo that in Aug 2014 the average AMD/USD exchange rate was 409.3 AMD/$1 versus 407.3 AMD/$1 in Aug 2013.

The source says that in Aug 2014 the consumer market of Armenia saw 0.7% inflation (1.2% deflation versus Dec 2013) and 0.8% inflation versus Aug 2013.
