In Jan-Sept 2014 compensation of Armenian insurance companies grew by 36.9%
ArmInfo. In Jan-Sept 2014 the aggregate compensation of Armenia's insurance companies grew by 36.9% to 18bln AMD.
The premiums during the same period dropped by 16% to 22.8bln AMD.
According to ArmInfo's Ranking of Insurance Companies of Armenia, three companies registered growth in compensation in Jan-Sept 2014.
Rosgosstrakh-Armenia redoubled its compensation to 9.4bln AMD. The compensation of Nairi Insurance grew by 47.8% to 2.6bln AMD, the compensation of INGO Armenia dropped by 10.7% to 2.5bln AMD, the compensation of RESO dropped by 34.1% to 1.8bln AMD, the compensation of Sil Insurance grew by 45.6% to 1.2bln AMD, that of Armenia Insurance dropped by 1.2% to 648.1mln AMD.
Compulsory third party liability motor insurance made for 39.6% of total compensation or 7.1bln AMD (0.5% less than in Jan-Sept 2013), property insurance for 26.8% or 4.812bln AMD, health insurance for 20.4% or 3.7bln AMD (20.5% less), comprehensive automobile insurance for 5.7% or 1bln AMD (1.1% more), cargo insurance for 3.1% or 553.2mln AMD.
