In Q1 2015, Armenias gross international reserves grew by 0.1% to $1.492 bln. The Central Bank of Armenia has told ArmInfo that as compared to Q1 2014 this index dropped by 24.3%.
The foreign assets in the international reserves grew by 1.8% to $937.8 mln in Q1 2015 (down 30% versus Q1 2014). The share of SDR in the IMF dropped 9.4-fold in Q1 and amounted to $660.8 thsd (477.6 thsd SDR), with an 18.6% year-over-year growth. To recall, in 2014 Armenia's international reserves declined by 34% to $1.489 bln, with the foreign exchange assets totaling $1.483 bln. The share of SDR in the IMF grew more than 3-fold to $6.2 mln in 2014.
To note, the share of bank gold in Armenia's gross international reserves was zeroed in Dec 2003.
