ISO certificate indicates that an efficient management of information security system, in line with international standards, has been established in ARARATBANK and data confidentiality and security are ensured.
Implementation of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 requirements commits ARARATBANK to systematically manage information, taking into account the threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts, as well as to use the best international experience of information security management.
This standard has been developed by international Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). Using the best international experience in information security management, this standard regulates the whole cycle of creating, changing, saving and deleting the information.
To note, ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognized best practice framework for an information security management system. It helps to identify the risks to important information and put in place the appropriate controls to help reduce the risk. According to its documentation, ISO 27001 was developed to "provide a model for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving an information security management system. The specification includes details for documentation, management responsibility, internal audits, continual improvement, and corrective and preventive action. The standard requires cooperation among all sections of an organization.
