ArmInfo. Armenia -2016 Investment Forum to stimulate foreign investments in Armenia will be held in New York in late Sept- early Oct 2016, Vahagn Lalayan, the Head of the Investment Policy Department, Economy Ministry of Armenia, told a news conference in Yerevan in response to ArmInfo's question.
He said the forum will be the largest in the history of Armenia and will involve many of the world's biggest investment companies. The preparations are underway. Asian Development Bank provided US$750,000 grant for that purpose. The Bank has selected a company that is working on the format of the upcoming event. An international organizations will be selected later to engage in the remaining
organizational activity.
The event initiator is the Government of the Republic of Armenia. The forum will be funded by the Asian Development Bank and organized with the assistance of the international consortium which is headed by Ameria Management Advisory Services and involves US-based Pragma consulting firm.
Earlier, Tigran Jrbashyan, Head of Ameria Management Advisory Services and Development Director at Ameria Group, said: "This investment project is crucial for development of Armenia's economy.

This investment forum will create huge opportunities for Armenia to attract foreign investments, create jobs and explore new markets. It will greatly raise awareness about Armenia worldwide and help raise
additional capital from international markets.
