ArmInfo. Gazprom Armenia CJSC (former name:ArmRosGazprom) continues to top the list of the largest taxpayers of Armenia as a result of Q1 2016 , paying 15.6 bln AMD, from which 177 mln AMD are customs duties, 1.8 billion AMD as direct taxes (profit and income taxes) and 13.6 billion AMD as indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). According to the data published by the State Revenue Committee of RA the top 5 taxpayers have paid 31.7 bln AMD in total, from which 10.5 bln are direct taxes and 20.4 bln indirect taxes.
Armenia' International Airports CJSC rose to the 2nd place from the previous 22nd forcing Electric Networks of Armenia to the 3rd place. Flesh Company rose to 4th place from the 6th place last year. Armenia Telephone Company holds the 5th place versus previous 3rd position. These companies are followed by Alex-Grig (6th place versus 5th a year before), NPP (7th position versus previous 8th), Grand- Tobacco Armenian-Canadian JV (8th place versus previous 7th), CPS Oil Corporation (retains the 9th position), JTA Armenia (10th place versus previous 11th). Zangezur Copper- Molybdenum Complex holds the 11th position versus 4th position a year before.
Armenia' International Airports CJSC paid 4.9 billion AMD to the budget, from which 59.5 million AMD as customs duties, 4.7 billion AMD as direct taxes and 162.04 mln AMD as indirect taxes.
Electric Networks of Armenia paid 4.1 billion AMD to the budget, from which 1.3 bln AMD as direct taxes and 2.7 billion AMD as indirect taxes.
Flesh Company paid 3.6 billion AMD to the budget, from which 1.9 bln AMD as customs duties, 880.1 mln AMD as direct taxes and 2.6 bln AMD as indirect taxes.
Armenia Telephone Company (ArmenTel, Beeline trademark) paid 3.4 billion AMD to the budget, from which 443.2 mln AMD as customs duties, 1.8 bln AMD as direct taxes and 1.3 bln AMD as indirect taxes.
To note in Q 1, 2015 Gazprom Armenia (retains leadership since 2012), Electric Networks of Armenia, Armenia Telephone Company (ArmenTel), Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Complex and Alex Grig were among the top 5 taxpayers and paid 31.8 bln AMD in total, from which 6.3 bln direct taxes, 21.3 bln indirect taxes.
