In Jan-May 2016 revenues of communication sector of Armenia dropped by 5.3% versus Jan-May 2015

ArmInfo. In Jan-May 2016, the revenues of the communication sector of Armenia amounted to 62.1 bln AMD (down 5.3% versus Jan-May 2015). According to the National Statistical Service of Armenia, telecommunications secured 95.1% of the total revenues, or 59.1 bln AMD (down 4.9% versus Jan-May 2015).

The source says that in May 2016 the total revenues of the communication sector grew by 0.6% to 12.7 bln AMD. Telecommunications secured 12 bln AMD (down 0.1% versus April 2016).

For comparison, in Jan-May 2015 the revenues of the communication sector of Armenia totaled 66.1 bln AMD (down 6.4% versus Jan-May 2014), with the share of telecommunications being 62.7 bln AMD (down 7% versus Jan-May 2014).
