Armenian Economy Ministry proposes way to reduce corruption risks

ArmInfo. In order to reduce possible corruption risks and raise the level of awareness of the citizens and economic entities the Armenian government plans to introduce online system of rules and regulations related to import and export of all the goods, Armenian Economy Minister Artsvik Minasyan told journalists on July 15. The Minister recalled that according to the Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan's order instruction booklet was drafted for the importers on the main 15 items of goods. These booklets have been sent to the relevant agencies and have already been presented for the government's discussion, after which they will be published.

Besides, according to the Minister it is planned to create an online system of all the goods, with the help of which anyone can search by the name of the item or 10 -digit code and find out all the procedures, terms, regulations, responsible agencies, appeal systems for import or export of the good. According to the Minister this will allow to reduce possible corruption risks and raise the level of awareness among citizens and economic entities.
