Business Program of the 8th International Forum and ATOMEX 2016 Exhibition of nuclear industry suppliers is approved

ArmInfo. S.V.Kirienko, CEO of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, has approved the business program of the 8th International Forum and ATOMEX 2016 Exhibition of nuclear industry suppliers, which will take place from October 19 till October 20, 2016 in Moscow (Expocenter, pavilion No. 7).

The format of ATOMEX 2016 event includes five main components: congress part, exhibition, presentation sessions of suppliers, subject-oriented workshops organized by nuclear industry companies and individual business meetings in B2B format with participation of suppliers and customers.

Congress participants will discuss the main issues related to the organization of procurements and interaction between suppliers and customers of the nuclear industry. Special attention shall be paid to questions of increasing the participation share of small and medium business entities in nuclear industry procurements, including the sector of high tech and innovative products.

The main event of the forum will be a plenary session in the format of panel discussion with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, Federal Antimonopoly Service, Federal Corporation for Development of SME, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the heads of subsidiaries of Rosatom State Corporation. Key issues on the agenda are «Statutory regulation in the sphere of procurements, innovations and trends», «Specific features of statutory regulation in the sphere of procurements for small and medium-sized enterprises».

Separate subject-oriented break-out sessions will be also held at the forum: «System of material and technical provisions, procurements and quality of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom. Work experience of suppliers to enterprises of Rosatom State Corporation», «Interaction of State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom with small and medium-sized enterprises. Participation in procurements, partnership», «Promising projects of nuclear power facilities construction in Russia and abroad», «The needs of the enterprises of Rosatom State Corporation in import-substituting products», «The needs of the enterprises of Rosatom State Corporation in innovative technologies and equipment», «Quality assurance of the procurements in major foreign companies. Best foreign practices».

During all days of forum-exhibition operation, workshops for suppliers will be organized on the stands of the enterprises of Rosatom State Corporation, which will be followed by individual meetings-negotiations in B2B format.

Expositions of leading enterprises of Russian nuclear industry and supplier companies will be organized on the site of ATOMEX 2016. The participants will demonstrate a wide range of innovative and production possibilities, equipment and services in such fields as mechanical engineering, instrument engineering, electric engineering, protective equipment, SCADA software and hardware, piping and pipe fitting, environmental safety, etc.

In 2015, the Forum was attended by 874 representatives from 191 companies; the main events were covered by 74 mass media representatives. 77 companies participated in the exhibition on a total area of 1,240 sq. m.
