Lifting sanctions from Iran has created preconditions for forming in Iran new center for regional economic growth, Russia's Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volinkin stated in his welcoming speech to the participants of "EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN", attached to anniversary of Armenia's membership in EEU.
"The European Economic Commission has held a number of consultations with Iran on signing temporary agreement on free economic zone. We hope that expansion of trade cooperation of Russia and Armenia with Iran will be fruitful. Diversified development of economic ties creates a solid foundation for our partnership in the future. I am convinced that the EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN international industrial expo will be held in constructive and business climate and its results will help to further unleash the potential of multilateral trade economic cooperation", the Ambassador noted.
At the same time the Russian diplomat noted that these events naturally fit in the spirit of relations of ally partnership between Armenia and Russia, which is characterized by increasing dynamics of cooperation in various fields. According to him, holding this expo has become a good tradition in Russian-Armenian relations of strategic partnership reflecting growth of economic, business and industrial turnover.
To note, the goal of the 7th international industrial expo EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN, which will be held in Yerevan on October 26-28, is development of economic, scientific-technical, cultural and political cooperation between Armenia and Russia, establishment and strengthening ties between the countries, development of joint businesses, trade-economic and investment relations. The following sectors of economy we be presented on the expo: energy, engineering, metallurgy, instrument making, transport and logistics, geology and mining industry, construction, chemical industry, communications and telecommunications, information technologies, innovations and investments, banks and insurance companies, agriculture and food industry, healthcare, education. Round tables and stock market contacts in B2B format will be held in Yerevan in the framework of EXPO-RUSSIA ARMENIA 2016 plus IRAN.
Companies from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and other countries of CIS will participate in the expo. Agreement was reached on participation of state structures and business representatives from Iran. "Zarubej Expo" JSC is the organizer of the expo.
