EU agreed to allocate 880 thsd EUR to Armenia for program of ensuring transparency, efficiency and independence of external audit system

ArmInfo. The European Union agreed to allocate 880 thsd EUR to Armenia for the program of ensuring transparency, efficiency and independence of the external audit system. This amount will cover 88% of the program's total cost, the joint statement of the RA Control Chamber and EU informs.

The goal of the Control Chamber, EU and German Corporation for International Cooperation within the aforementioned program is to increase independence of external audit system in Armenia, its transparency and efficiency. The objective is to bring in line legal framework of the Control Chamber of Armenia to international standards and best European experience.
