Russian Minister: cooperation between Armenia and Russia  very valuable

ArmInfo. Denis Manturov, the Russian  Minister Trade and of Industry, hel a meeting  with Suren Karayan, Armenian Minister of Economic Development and Investments, Ignati Arakelyan, the Minister of Agriculture, and Vahan Martirosyan, the Minsiter of Transport, Communications and IT.

According to Russian   Ministry of  Trade and Industry, during the meeting Denis  Manturov mentioned that Armenia is among the historical and strategic partners of Russia. According to Russian Minister, the cooperation and partnership between Armenia and  Russia is very valuable. " I am very glad for this opportunity to exchange opinions  at the threshold of our prime ministers meeting. Including all the issues that have been discussed during  Anticontrafact 2016 ernational forum. I do  highly appreciate  the higher level of that event held, and for the opportunity to meet Armenia's government members. Certain tasks have been  shaped at those meetings to implement today," the Minister said.  To remind, today on January 24, Armenian Prime Ministr leaves for Moscow for an official visit. The visit agenda comprises actual issues of Russian-Armenian relationship in the sectors of trade, industrial, transportation and social  cooperation. Parties will discuss also the implementation of joint humanitarian projects. A special attention will be paid to  Russian-Armenia interaction within the framework of EEU cooperation. A number of intergovernmental documents is planned to get signed based on the results of the meeting. Karen Karapetyan is invited to visit Moscow by Russian prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev.
