ArmInfo. Repayment of the debts accumulated during the grape procurement period will be continued in 2017, Armenian Agriculture Minister Ignaty Arakelyan said at a press conference in Yerevan on Feb 16.
He said that the total debt of the procuring companies, which purchased grapes from the farmers but failed to pay the required sum, is 1,467 bln AMD. In accordance with the repayment schedule, the principal amount of the debt (90%) is to be repaid by June 2017. 586 mln AMD will be spent on this purpose in February, 415 mln AMD in March, 160 mln AMD in April, 218 mln AMD in May.
