ArmInfo. Eurasian Economic Commission prepared a draft Agreement on approaches and principles in the sector of state supervision in EEU for interstate coordination. It is planned to review and to discuss the document at the EEC Board session, Valeri Koreshko, the Minister on EE Technical Coordination stated at the session of Belarus State Standard Commission session, held within the participation of Vladimir Semashko, the prime Minister of Belarus. The EEC Minister mentioned the important role of Belarusian State Standard Entity in the process of development of acts to be approved by the Commission in the sector of technical coordination.
" The Agreement assumes some modifications and new ideas," Valeri Koreshkov stated."this is the implementation of risk-oriented approach during the implementation of supervision arrangements, and the establishment of joint informational system in respect to dangerous products, interaction clear procedures for EEU countries supervisory entities and others".
The issues of activities improvement in the sector of certification ands state control, including the results of the monitoring held by EEC, as well as the terms of cooperation with law enforcement entities are expected to be discussed at the session to be held in March this Year.
In 2017 it is planned also to finalize the preparation of new version of conformance evaluation sample schemes, which will set clear procedures and unified order of conformance compulsory evaluations implementation within EEU technical procedures.
The Eurasian Economic Commission is a permanent supranational regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union functioning since February 2nd 2012. The EEU includes representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The Commission's decision is compulsive for Union states. The Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission is Tigran Sargsyan. Agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union was signed on May 29 2014, entered into force on 1 January 2015. The Union ensures freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and labor, a coordinated, coherent and unified policy in the various sectors of the economy. The purpose of the Union is to provide conditions for stable development of the economies of the Member States in order to improve the living standards of their populations, a comprehensive modernization, co-operation and competitiveness of national economies. The Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is the supreme body of the Union, which is composed of the Presidents of the Member States. Eurasian Intergovernmental Economic Council is a body composed of the heads of governments of the Member States. Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission is a body composed of Deputy Prime Ministers of the Member States.
