Vladikavkaz-Yerevan direct regular flights might be launched in the near future

ArmInfo. Vladikavkaz-Yerevan  direct regular flights might be launched in the near future.  According to Region Online, the confessor of Ossetia discussed the  launch of the flights during his visit in Armenia.

As Bishop of Alania and Vladikavkaz Leonid noted during his working  visit to Armenia, the flight will be in highly demand, as nearly 20  thousand Armenians live in Northern Ossetia.

As the head of the press office of the General Department of Civil  Aviation (GDCA) Satenik Hovhannisyan told ArmInfo, the aviation  regulator of Armenia hasn't received any relevant application yet. At  the same time, the GDCA noted that the negotiations with various air  companies on expansion of the destinations and enlargement of the  list of companies are still going on. However, referring to a  commercial secret, the GDCA hasn't named the new players of the air  service market.

To note, the visit of the Ossetian confessor took place last week.  Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received Bishop Leonid.
