ArmInfo. Levon Mkrtchyan, the  Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armeniaon march  3 received the World Bank Delegation headed by Nino Koutaladze, the  Education Improvement Team Leader and the Coordinator of Education  Projects. 

According to the information shared  with ArmInfo at the Press-Office   of the Ministry, welocimng the guests the Minister accentuated that  thanks to cooperation with the World Bank, an essential system  changes have been implemented in Armenia. 

During the meeting parties discussed the World Bank new Grant Program  at the cost of USD 340 thousand, the beneficiary of which is the  Testing and Evaluation Center. The Project assumes the installation  of computer base technologies in respect to the joint state test for  high school graduates. 

Parties discussed also the issues related to the next, expected  project of the WorldBank, which will be aimed at the Education System  Efficiency Study. 

Armenia is the member of World Bank since 1992 and from 1993 is a  member of WDA (World Development Association). In the period  mentioned Armenia was rendered a USD 2,3 bln total amount of loans  and grants.
