JSC SCRW reminds citizens the  need to observe safety instructions on railways strictly

ArmInfo. Some incidents happened on the railway  during recent days, which are directly related to ignoring the safety instructions by citizens. With that, SCRW ( South Caucasus Railway) JSC once again reminds that railway road is the source of increased danger and appeals to lead the safety instructions rigorously.

On March 11,at the  section of Mrgashat village 86 aged woman fell under locomotive N682, and died there and then. On March 9 at 12:45 in unguarded passage of direction Yerasx-Ararat happened a crash of cement truck "MAN" and locomotive VL N825. The driver of the automobile, ignoring all the norms of safety and heading upcoming staff, tried to jump through the locomotive. Despite emergency break he could not man ge to prevent the crash. In this case there were no victims, however as a result of crash which happened because of the truck driver, the locomotive has been damaged, in particular, its auto coupler, bearing brindles, bench board, radio contact, dashboard is broken. Moving columns of railway movement have been damaged.

It is worth noting that as a result of observation the reject from norms of the road have not been shown up, all the necessary alert railway signs for the drivers have been installed and are visible.  SCRW  JSC once again reminds the  necessity to observe the rules of passage traversal, calls to cautiousness and attention. There is no space for carelessness and negligence in the road, any mistake can cause damage anyone's life or health.

SCRW  reminds the drivers that secured railway passages should be crossed only with allowance of duty- man, and non  secured - with all the sureness of safety of one's actions, not trying to traverse the passage through the train, which can lead to harsh consequences.

It is necessary to remember that the train can not stop immediately in case of potential safety for careless pedestrian, as if from the beck of magic stick. In case of emergency break the breaking road for passenger train is not less than 800 meters, and for truck-not less than 1km.

This case, which could lead to very serious results, should get  the attention of all the responsible officials of Police Service, drivers, leaders of auto transport organizations-with the request of safety in the movement. Only by start of 2017 in railway roads were registered 4 incidents of auto transport with trains, with that, in 2016 the incidents like these happened 6 times, and in 2015-9 times.  .  From its  side the Company passes events on informing the residents of the communities located nearby the railway roads, also meetings with the heads of communities.

JSC SCR is 100% filial company of JSC Russian Railways and does concessive ruling of railway roads by Armenian nationals. Railway infrastructure of Armenia was put under trustee management  of JSC SCR according the assigned Concession  agreement signed  on February 13,  2008. The term of trustee management is 30 years,  assuming  10 years prolongation.
