EBRD and Armenian Central bank to discuss possibilities of  improvement of capital stock market and activation of AMD based  lending

ArmInfo. European Bank of  Reconstruction and development (EBRD) and the Central  Bank of  Armenia will discuss at the scientific press conference on March 23  the possibilities of of improvement of capital stock market and  activation of AMD based lending.  According to the information shared  with  Arminfo at the press office of the European Bank, these  discussions are accepted as a consequence of successful cooperation  within the framework of Memorandum on Mutual Understanding signed in  march 2016 in respect to the local market of generic tools. 

The event will be participated by more than 100 attendants,  comprising  representatives  of supervisory authorities, financial  markets and international financial entities. 

The attendants will be rendered an opportunity to discuss the latest  tendencies of Armenian capital stock market improvement and further  steps aimed at  stronger and sustaibable financial infrastructure. 

To remind, EBRD is one of institutional investors in Armenia. From  the very first start of EBRD activities in Armenia, over EUR 1,13 bln  has been invested in various projects in different sectors like  infrastructures, financial, corporate, energy.  To note, 88% of  investments are allocated for private sector.
